“Periscope, a Work in Progress”

I have been following the development of Periscope –a live video streaming app for iOS– since Twitter re-launched it a couple of months ago, shortly after Meerkat, a similar app, started to get attention and to use Twitter’s feed as a base. Now, users are complaining about the random interaction Periscope promotes, how it facilitates harassment, and the necessity to redesign some of its features to fix this situation.

In case you do not know what Periscope is or know too little, you should start with the video at the end of the article, which provides a quick introduction to the app.

Here is the article: http://www.theverge.com/2015/5/14/8602205/how-periscope-should-change-its-design-to-mitigate-abuse

Enjoy, skylighters!
